Documentary: “Library Stories: Books on the Backroads”
Celebrate National Library Week at Zollinger with a library documentary, “Library Stories: Books on the Backroads,” at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 3. This documentary captures the struggles of rural libraries around the state of New Mexico and highlights the need for more funding for libraries. Popcorn will be provided. This is a Z-Talk special event.
Poetry Haiku Night
Join Zollinger Library at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, for a special Haiku Poetry Night. Do you have poetry you would like to read? Would you like to learn how to write a Haiku? Whether you are a seasoned poet or just poetry curious, come and share in the joy of poetry and help celebrate National Poetry Month. This is a Z-Talk special event.
Zollinger Pokémon Go Night: Spring Showdown
Join Zollinger Library at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, for a Pokémon Go spring tournament. Come and be a part of this battle for Pokémon superiority. Sign-up will be at the event, so come early and secure your spot. You can also enjoy the company of fellow Pokémon trainers, share ideas, trade, battle, and more. Snacks will be provided.
The Unsinkable Molly Brown
Zollinger Library presents VanAnn Moore as the Unsinkable Molly Brown at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 18. More than 100 years ago, the Titanic sank on its maiden voyage across the Atlantic. There are many stories of survival, but none as unique as that of Molly Brown. Accompanied by music and songs, enjoy the history from Molly and find out why she earned a reputation for being a tough yet successful woman. This is a Z-Talk special event.
April Film Series
Join Zollinger Library for our April Films at 4 p.m. Thursdays. This month we are taking a walk on the strange side. Enjoy these fun films all month long. The film screenings are free and open to all students and staff as well as the community. Popcorn is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
